Privacy Policy of Raya Data Center

Raya Data Center (RDC) established its privacy policy to demonstrate its firm commitment to protect customer privacy and confidentiality. Our privacy policy describes how we collect and use customers’ data and how we administer it. This will include names, usernames, phone numbers, email addresses, billing and other information associated with the customers.

This policy will be reviewed and updated to respond to major changes or at least annually.

RDC will ensure that customer data privacy will be protected and that the customer data will be used to provide the agreed services and only in a way that is consistent with customer expectations. RDC doesn’t share customer data for marketing or advertising and doesn’t give any third party access to customer data. RDC uses the data to operate the business, which includes analyzing RDC performance, meeting RDC legal obligations, developing RDC workforce, doing research and other legitimate objectives.

RDC processing of personal data for the above purposes includes both automated and manual (human) methods of processing.

When RDC processes personal data about you, we do so with your consent and/or as required to provide the products you use, operate RDC business, meet RDC contractual and legal obligations, protect the security of RDC systems and customers or fulfil other legitimate interests.

You can control your personal data that RDC has obtained, and exercise your data protection rights, by contacting RDC or using various tools we provide. In some cases, your ability to access or control your personal data will be limited, as required or permitted by applicable law.

RDC Privacy Policy does not apply to the content that customers store on our systems, including any personal information of their end users. RDC will not disclose, move, access or use customers’ content. This will be dealt with as per the customer’s agreement with RDC. This policy doesn’t apply to personal information that is collected from or about RDC employees, consultants, contractors, vendors, licensees, sponsors, or advertisers.

RDC collects and maintains a variety of personal information such as email addresses, phone numbers, business and home addresses, credit card and other payment information, areas of study and courses. The information will be collected directly from you through online registration forms, purchasing of RDC services, surveys, current and past web site user. It could be collected indirectly through third parties such as business partners.

You will be told which information is optional. Should you fail to provide optional information, certain features may not be available to you.

Certain information could be collected through the use of cookies technology or Internet Protocol address tracking. Non-personal information might include the used browser, the type of computer, the operating systems, the Internet service provider, and other similar information. RDC system could also gather information about the pages you visit on RDC site and about the links you may select from within RDC site to other sites. Most browsers are set to accept cookies. You can set your browser to refuse cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent however if you disable cookies the full functionality of RDC site may not be available to you.

RDC uses controls to safeguard personally identifiable information (PII) to ensure the protection of integrity, availability, confidentiality, transparency, isolation, and portability of customer data. RDC uses controls that are appropriate to the type of information maintained, and follows applicable laws and regulations regarding safeguarding such information. RDC may use Secure Socket Layer (“SSL”) or Transport Layer Security (“TLS”) encryption technology to enhance data privacy and help prevent loss, misuse, or alteration of personal information. RDC follows the local and international data protection laws and regulations including Egypt Data Protection law, GDPR. RDC implements and applies ISO 27001 controls to protect the customer’s data privacy and security.

RDC will promptly notify the relevant cloud service customer in the event of any unauthorized access to their PII or unauthorized access to processing equipment or facilities resulting in loss, disclosure or alteration of PII.

The customer is responsible for protecting his account username and password from third party access, and for selecting passwords that are secure. If customer becomes aware of any unauthorized use of its account, customer will notify RDC as promptly as possible.

RDC doesn’t control the use of third parties cookies that you visit using links from RDC site.
